I need help in choosing the best android mini pc stick. I heard the mk808 is good, there is also a quad core version of that on its way, should I wait for that or is there better out there? Also where is the best place to buy these android sticks from without getting scammed?

The quad-core version is already out (MK908), but I think it's like $100.
At that price I think something like the ODroid-U2 or the Ouya would probably be a better deal.

I think the MK808 or MK808B (bluetooth version) are the best value right now.
At ~$45 they are the cheapest dual-core mini PC you can get.

They are also the most popular, so you will find lots of custom ROMs and get some level of support from Android forums.
I recommend installing Finless 1.7, it's way better than stock

Buy on Amazon from the seller "GeekBuying" (they don't sell clones)
Make sure the order says "Fulfillment by Amazon," I think you'll have an easier time returning it if you get a bad one.

Haven't had any issues with mine, personally, but you never know with these cheap china things  :bidoof:

Cool!

If you're not happy with the performance I recommend downgrading to Finless 1.7 (Android 4.1)
4.2.2 really killed performance for me on this device, especially with emulators.
