   3. Replace them with http://somuchdamage.com/stuff/BROTRR/Win.bmp and http://somuchdamage.com/stuff/BROTRR/Win_a.bmp
You're set! Next time you race, you should see "YOU'RE WINNER !".

1) Copy "Carz.res" to your desktop and rename it to Carz.zip.

You can edit every map with MSPAINT.

T-H.bmp controls the hight of the terrain. Black is 0 and white is max hight.

t-l.bmp controls the lights.

the grass, dirt and rock thingies control where the grass rock and dirt textures are placed on the level geomentry, white is where its places, black is absent.

This is called a heightmap.  They're pretty simple to make and a simple program can be found here.

I made a map to demonstrate the physics in BROTRR.  Video

EDIT: I can't for the life of me figure out how objects/checkpoints are placed, so can't really make a custom map yet.
