These are two features common on forums, obviously one fetches all unread posts and the other fetches all unread replies to your posts. In making the template I had omitted these because I couldn't find any logical place to fit them in and I didn't think anyone used them but as it transpired I was wrong. So THEY'RE BACK BABY.

On the board index, at the top of the board list, is the "linktree", which in this case just says "yourewinner.com". On the far right of the same row is the "posts" link that opens the drop down menu to access the unread/new replies options. Since it's a JavaScript menu you'll need to have JS enabled for it to work. If I figure out how to, I'll replace it with a CSS menu or something so it doesn't rely on JavaScript.

by the way you can view unread posts for a specific board by clicking the "new messages"/"no new messages" icon next to that board's name.

I used "get unread posts" to get to this topic.

I wouldn't ever use it but it looks nice. :D

did away with the drop down menu because it kept putting loads of errors in the error log (IE was gay and put it in the wrong place so I put a line of php telling it to put a certain style for IE only and it caused errors to appear in the error log)
