My trainer was a bitch. Everything was going great there except for the obvious feeling that the woman training me most days did not like me. And I didn't like her as she had a "Live, Laugh Love" tattoo which tells you everything you need to know about her personality. Of course like a good subordinate poo poo-eating employee I always tried to treat her fairly.

The main incident happened last week I believe, about 5 days in to my 6 day training period. I was still learning a lot of things but she had ever lowering patience for me getting things wrong. The Livelaughlover had me on drive-thru and kept telling me I needed to upsell to customers. I tried. After nearly every customer she was breathing down my neck asking "Do you know what you did wrong?" Of course I knew. I knew that I needed to ask the customer who knew they didn't want fricking 3 dollar desert with their 2 dollar tacos but she relented. And after one time of her telling me I didn't try to upsell on account of I didn't know what else I could add to the customers precise and enormous order I responded, "I honestly don't know what more to sell them."

She accused me of being "snotty" with her. This was the beginning of the end. I thought it was a minor incident caused by her impatience but I guess she told the manager and I didn't hear any more of it until a few days later. Finished my best shift so far today and was called into the managers office and promptly sacked. It was strange because of how well todays shift actually went, was beginning to befriend some of the other employees and they all advised me to try to get shifts away from the woman who trained me because she was a bitch which I'd already discovered. Turned out they were more right than ever.

I left the store without a shirt because today was the one day I didn't bring an extra shirt to change into.

Well I didn't make much food but I did always give people the fullest amount of soda that I could and made sure the sides of the cup weren't wet.
