Shaq Fu RPG

#31 22-05-2012, 21:16:50 PM
This might be premature, but I also found a Nameless "Dead Sea Scroll." Before the Shaq Fu RPG, I made 3 games: Tales of the Goatseman, Return to Castle Goatsestein, and Goatse the Masquerade: Redemption. They were all made within the span of a year from the release date of RPG Maker 2000 to 2001. The previous two have been lost to the anals of time, but I found a half-completed version of the third game today during my raid on my father's home. It's a lot like the Shaq Fu RPG (cultists intent on reviving the dead God of Hedonism--Goatse, explicit sexual content, mass pictures of Goatse, etc). I never released it to the SFA nor did I complete it due to my focus being on the Shaq Fu RPG. We'll get to this game when I finish Shaq Fu RPG so stay tuned.

True story about it: I got in a fistfight with a friend due to me including him in the game. Needless to say, he didn't like the way I portrayed him.

The day anyone on a *chan site says something positive about anything without irony or sarcasm is the day the world ends.  Basing any opinion on anything they have to say is a good way to become suicidally depressed about the state of our species.

:texan:
This.

Also, I'd totally play Gotseman.

Done finally.

Also, one more quick note: the bad ending is far from "bad." It's the funniest part of the game and it was a pleasure writing it (also, no final battle with this option. Just make sure your karma is 30 and below).

I can't think of anything that would be frowned upon around here aside from being LOSER and/or useless and humorless

you and your obviously skilled team are the complete opposite of all of the above so carry on :bluerig:

I would say that NOT including a lot of large images in every post is frowned upon.

I think Shaq is going to team up with either Snoop Dogg or 50-Cent in SFRPG 2.

why not both? Fiddy could be the fighter and Snoop could be the magic user.

Just thought I would give you guys an update. The intro is done and a lot of the gameplay and core-battle system is done for the first island. There will be a demo in the coming weeks--possibly even sooner. I tell you what, nothing makes you feel more alive than painstakingly editing a set of Goatse pics for hours on end and then implementing them into a "game." When I released its spiritual prequel (Goatse the Masquerade: Redemption), I felt like I was traversing new ground--the Max Hardcore and/or the Jay Stile of the RPG Maker community, so to speak. No one admitted to playing my games, but a lot of them did in secret. This was back when Goatse was still pretty new (circa 2001) and he was like WTC jokes. Many didn't want to be reminded of it much less joke about it. Even the SFA wanted me to tone it down when my Goatse material and fist jokes started to dominate that game. Many called me disturbed (and still do), but what's worse--making the product or willingly consuming it? To me, the absurdity and shock value of the game itself is comedy.

I suggest you add a bunch of goatse to everything, as goatse in endlessly classic and timeless.

Personally, I'd make three "versions" of SFRPG2 - the "Ultimate Goatass" version, the "Fist/Goatass" version (which combines the Black Fist and Goatass jokes), and the "Ultimate Fist" version (which has only Black Fist jokes and no Goatass). That way, the former SFA members and Goatass worshipers alike would be happy with your game.

Three versions? I don't know man, that sounds like actual work. Right now I'm just working on this for fun until I get a decent job offer. I'll keep it in mind, though.

:roddy: , Nameless. I wouldn't be surprised if you were one of Lord Stell's top programmers!
