I actually still like Chicago style, but when it comes to high quality of either style I prefer NY.  That doesn't look like very good NY style pizza though.

The best NY style pizza I ever was Zia Pizza in San Diego

So what exactly are the differences between these two pizza types? We only have Turkish guys making pizza here, it's pretty good.

NY pizza is a thin crust with thin layers of sauce, cheese and toppings while Chicago style can be several inches (or centimeters, if you prefer) thick with sauce and toppings and has a much thicker crust.  NY style is designed to be folded and is oily on top while Chicago is just totally greasy.  NY pizza is easier/quicker to eat and is more authentic to Italian pizza.

I'll let you figure out which is which:

ya'll need to quit knocking on the obviously superior deep dish
Trip to Old Chicago went well, very tasty. I didn't like the pictures Cirus posted so I took my own.

Chicago Style

Piece I ate, pineapple is good :3

All in all good dinner :belair: :roddy:

Look I'm clearly the master of both styles of pizza and I know that deep dish wins.

Yes, Este is pretty good too.  I've been there a couple of times and it's probably the best pizza in SLC that I know of although the Pie can be good.
