The point of going to baseball games is to sit in the sun and drink beer and people watch for 3 hours. Occasionally something will happen in the game and then you have to cheer

I'd imagine it's pretty analogous to cricket, except it's the japanese rather than indians who have an unhealthy fascination with it

baseball is fun to watch at home because you can get really drunk and you don't actually have to watch the whole game
